ABOUT THE FIRM
Naffah & Company, PC is a professional corporation employing 10 professionals, located in North Andover, Massachusetts. The partners of the firm, Douglas Naffah, Marilyn Censullo, and MaryEllin Costello, each have over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Our client base is exceptional in its variety, complexity and quality. Areas of practice that require our specialized knowledge and expertise which include:
- Audit services including compliance auditing under generally accepted government audit standards
- Merger and acquisition transactions including forensic accounting, due diligence, business valuation and tax structuring on both the buy and sell side of transactions
- Special projects including evaluation of the true financial position of investment funds and tax reporting and audit services to investment funds
- Representation of businesses and individuals involved in IRS audits, disputes, appeals and offers
- On-going business consulting, banking relationships and financial reporting, budgeting and financial projections
Naffah & Company, P.C. prides itself in the quality of its personnel and has experienced no turnover of personnel within the last 10 years. We assign the most qualified individuals to each engagement and we maintain continuity on successive engagements. Our audits are completed on a timely basis, with the quality of workpaper preparation and financial statement preparation that is mandatory in our profession, and which can be especially complex for organizations that receive federal and state grants.
DOUGLAS L. NAFFAH, CPA
Douglas L. Naffah is a Certified Public Accountant and the managing partner of the firm. With over 35 years of experience, he represents clients in a variety of industries including service companies, product distributors, real estate and construction related industries, non-profit, manufacturing, and investment funds. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Doug's focus is getting results for clients. Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Doug can be reached at dnaffah@naffahcpa.com.
MARILYN A. CENSULLO, CPA
Marilyn A. Censullo is a Certified Public Accountant and partner of the firm. With over 35 years of experience, she represents clients in a variety of industries including investment funds, retail, professional services, real estate and non-profit. She is a graduate of Salem State College where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Marilyn’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of North Shore Women in Business where she has held the position of Treasurer and President, and served on the Board of Directors.
In 2003, she was named North Shore Women in Business-Business Women of the Year. In 2007 she was elected to the Board of Directors of Meridian Bancorp, Inc. and is Chair of the Bank’s Audit Committee. Marilyn's specialties include accounting and tax advice for businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Marilyn can be reached at MCensullo@naffahcpa.com.
MARYELLIN COSTELLO, CPA
MaryEllin Costello is a Certified Public Accountant and partner of the firm. With over 30 years of experience, she represents clients in a variety of industries including distributors, real estate, non-profit, construction and manufacturing. MaryEllin's focus is in providing quality in our services, and in our tax and financial statement compliance and work products for our clients. She is a graduate of Merrimack College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
